In a dazzling celebration that lit up the Dubai sky, the One&Only One Za’abeel officially marked its grand opening, bringing together many international celebrities, dignitaries, and esteemed guests. Nestled near the iconic Dubai World Trade Centre and DIFC areas, the newly opened hospitality hub is a vertical reimagining of the traditional horizontal resort, reshaping the very skyline of Dubai.
This architectural marvel consists of twin skyscrapers connected by The Link, a futuristic boulevard suspended 100 meters above the bustling streets. The hotel’s rooms, suites, and the opulent 755-square-metre Villa One penthouse draw inspiration from the surrounding Za’abeel area, creating a seamless blend of luxury and cultural resonance.
A Star-Studded Affair
The grand opening was a star-studded affair, with the red carpet graced by renowned personalities such as Jennifer Lopez, Idris Elba, Sabrina Dhowre Elba, Mark Ronson, Naomi Campbell, Emma Raducanu, Vanessa Hudgens, Vincent Cassel, and Angela Yeung Wing, with live performances by Jennifer Lopez and Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram, accompanied by the rhythmic beats spun by DJ maestros Idris Elba and Mark Ronson.
Adding to the luxurious hospitality of the new resort, The Link also has many top-notch restaurants with famous chefs like Anne-Sophie Pic, Mehmet Gurs, Dabiz Munoz, and Paco Morales.
At the top of The Link is Tapasake, a place for One&Only’s unique Nikkei cuisine, along with the longest infinity pool in the UAE.
One&Only One Za’abeel officially opened last month, with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, among the first visitors.
