If you’ve ever flown back from London with half your suitcase stuffed with Primark finds, this one’s for you. The beloved Irish budget fashion retailer is finally making its way to Dubai. And yes, that means everything from £3 tees to cult-favourite homeware will soon be within trolley distance—no international flights required.

The iconic high-street retailer is teaming up with retail giant Alshaya Group to bring its first-ever stores to the Middle East. While reports suggest that the first store may open in Kuwait, Dubai is definitely one of the first markets in line. Official opening dates and locations are still under wraps, but word has it that a flagship could land in The Dubai Mall (naturally) or Mirdif City Centre.
If you’re unfamiliar with Primark—first, where have you been?—think of it as the ultimate one-stop fashion playground. We’re talking on-trend clothing, beauty, homeware, PJs, babywear, licensed merch (hello, Disney everything), all at prices that make you question capitalism but also immediately reach for a shopping basket.
Alshaya CEO John Hadden confirmed what we’ve all been waiting to hear: “Shoppers across the region have been asking for Primark for years.” Honestly, same. And now, it’s finally happening.
Stay tuned. And maybe start clearing some closet space.
