Turkish-Lebanese designer Nil Görgülü has spent the past fourteen years building NGG JEWELZ into a label recognised globally for its meticulous, flower-inspired jewellery pieces.
What began as a small atelier in Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar now serves clients from New York to Riyadh—and, most recently, Dubai, where she has opened the NGG Concept Store inside Kulture House, 106 Beach Road, Jumeirah 1.
The space is in soft-launch mode ahead of an official October opening, but early visitors can already browse limited collections and one-off commissions displayed among art books and curated home objects.
As a designer, her Ottoman embroidery techniques with contemporary settings really makes the designs stand out in a saturated market. Each brooch, pendant, or ear cuff is assembled by hand, stones placed one by one to create three-dimensional petals and leaves. That focus on slow craft earned Nil the 2024 New York Fashion Award for Best Innovation in Jewellery Design, an accolade that naturally expanded international demand and encouraged her to expand into the Gulf.

In a city where shoppers are particular about their accessories and value personalization, the NGG Concept Store in Dubai’s Kulture House serves as more than just a retail outlet. Clients can schedule private design appointments to customize stone color, metal finish, and enamel detail; the back studio doubles as a workshop space for jewellery-care tutorials and small-group talks on creative entrepreneurship, planned to start in November.
The goal, Nil says, is to turn the boutique into a hub where visitors feel as comfortable discussing inspiration as they do trying on finished pieces.

Alongside jewellery, the store carries a tight edit of lifestyle items—silk scarves patterned with NGG floral motifs, ceramic trays shaped like magnolia leaves, and a candle line developed with a local perfumer. The idea is to present a full visual universe that mirrors the brand’s signature garden aesthetic without veering into excess.
For those unable to visit in person, you can catch behind-the-scenes updates on @nggjewelz, while @thenggconcept documents the store’s day-to-day evolution. With its mix of craft, community, and measured expansion, NGG JEWELZ shows how a designer can grow internationally without losing the attention to detail that defined her first pieces back in Istanbul.
