The city has had its fair share of physical stores entering the region. Ulta Beauty, SKIMS, Amina Muaddi, and now joining them is luxury e-commerce platform Ounass. Known for their curated collections, which feature both regional and international designers, and their quick 2-hour delivery, the platform is a fan-favourite for the fashion-forward throughout the region. Their physical store is set to bring that same online energy, offline.
Developed by HUNA—who also made the official announcement—the store will be located at Across H, a new neighbourhood concept in Al Wasl. Across H is also set to feature a range of retail and dining options, one of which will be a new branch of the popular Lebanese restaurant, Em Sherif.

The exact dates of the official opening haven’t been announced yet but we can expect more details to come soon. As for Ounass, this might be their fist brick-and-motar store but not their first foray in this industry. The platform currently operates Ounass Maison, a private boutique located at Mandarin Oriental Jumeirah. Unlike Ounass Maison, which operates by appointment only, the new store will be open to the public. Those visiting can expect the same curated edits that are integral to the brand’s DNA, as well as exclusive activations.
The announcement comes at an interesting point in time for digital culture. While online shopping is not slowing down anytime soon, there’s a wider conversation to be had about returning offline. After all, we already saw this once with analogue media, so perhaps physical stores are the new It thing.
