While another week flies by, the climate puts a hesitant pause on our weekend plans. Now that strolls by the beach are a bit tricky to navigate, our weekend guide centres on the way we can best escape the heat. New eateries, beauty rituals, and more, it’s a testament that although the weather might drive us indoors, there’s still plenty of things to do in Dubai.

To Experience
King Coco x Promise Hair Spa | Wasl Square
Dubai water is rarely forgiving to the scalp and hair, so for those looking to indulge in a thorough reset, drop by Promise Hair Spa. Tucked in Wasl Square, this French spa has collaborated with King Coco, a homegrown beauty brand, to completely revitalise the hair. The treatment begins with a consultation before moving into a cosy room where dim lights and serene music await. From there, the scalp and hair are clarified, shampooed, and masked with King Coco infused products. After a steaming session followed by a head massage to foster blood circulation and improve hair growth, the hair is dried and styled with expert hands alongside a comforting drink. Adding life back into the hair, it’s a self-care treat that makes for the perfect weekend ritual.
The Silk Fold by ETHR Café | Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi

It’s a space to indulge and understand Emirati artistry and living through textures, design, and taste. And the best part? No two experiences are the same, as the concept is set to evolve throughout the season.
