In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, luxury lingerie brand HANRO has teamed up with Al Jalila Foundation in the UAE to support the fight against breast cancer. Throughout October, HANRO will donate 15% of all bra sales to the foundation, contributing directly to breast cancer research, early detection efforts, and awareness initiatives.
Breast cancer remains the most common cancer affecting women globally, with one in eight women receiving the diagnosis in their lifetime. Recognizing the importance of awareness and prevention, HANRO has committed to supporting the Pink Ribbon movement across several countries, including the UAE, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, and the USA.
“Breast cancer not only affects the woman with the disease, but also her family and social environment. Early detection can save lives, and it is a key concern of ours to help raise awareness of this important issue through our commitment. By supporting the Pink Ribbon movement, we want to help more women take advantage of screening opportunities and talk openly about their experiences,” explains Stephan Hohmann, HANRO Managing Director.
The collaboration with Al Jalila Foundation is part of HANRO’s broader mission to give back while celebrating women at every stage of their lives. In addition to its philanthropic efforts, HANRO is marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its autumn/winter 2024 collection, featuring luxurious lingerie in symbolic shades of pink.
The ‘Anais’ series, crafted from full lace in a striking Deep Poppy hue, leads the collection with a variety of styles, including soft bras, underwired bras, and bralettes. The range is ideal for both daily wear and special occasions.
Other notable series, such as ‘Tina,’ ‘Eva,’ and ‘Moments,’ further complement the collection, offering refined, comfortable designs in the season’s trendiest colors.
Through this partnership, the brand hopes to inspire more women to take action and support breast cancer research and prevention efforts.
