Saudi influencer and entrepreneur Yara Alnamlah makes history with her beauty brand, Moonglaze, becoming the first Saudi beauty label to launch at London’s prestigious Selfridges department store on December 4, 2024.
Alnamlah, renowned for her signature dewy makeup looks and substantial social media following, expressed her excitement about this milestone, stating how beyond being a personal milestone, it’s a cultural moment.
To celebrate this achievement, Moonglaze plans to host a series of activations, including collaborations with regional influencers who will showcase the brand’s latest blush line. The collection features six shades—Sway, Mars, Blushed, Princess Peach, 24k, and March—each crafted to complement a range of skin tones.
Moonglaze’s products will be available both in-store and online at Selfridges, aligning with the holiday season and offering a unique opportunity for international customers to experience Saudi beauty innovation firsthand.
Since its inception, the brand has introduced products such as highlighter sticks and a multi-use brush, all designed to enhance natural beauty with a luminous finish. Drawing inspiration from Middle Eastern culture, the name “Moonglaze” reflects the Arabic word “gamar,” meaning “the moon,” symbolising beauty and perfection.
This launch not only signifies a personal achievement for Alnamlah but also highlights the growing influence of Saudi entrepreneurs in the global beauty industry, reflecting the Kingdom’s expanding cultural footprint on the international stage.
