Picture a young girl in Moldova, surrounded by her dad’s band rehearsals, dreaming of one day creating her own kind of music. Fast-forward to today, and DJLiutik is doing exactly that—turning her passion for beats into an empire of sound. From spinning Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop, and House at Dubai’s hottest spots to opening for Metro Boomin at the Coca-Cola Arena, her journey is proof that trusting your gut (and your groove) can lead to unforgettable stages. We sat down with the trailblazing DJ and influencer to talk music, fashion, and the power of staying true to your rhythm while building your own lane. And because every season deserves a soundtrack, she has curated an exclusive playlist for Soigné—your ultimate vibe check for the season.

Your journey from Moldova to becoming one of Dubai’s go-to DJs is such a vibe. What sparked your love for DJing, and when did you realize it could grow into an empire of your own?

I have always wanted to become a DJ since I was very young. My dad is a musician; he used to have a band, and he was the guitarist. When I saw an opportunity, I took my chances.

Your sets are all about mixing Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop, and House—such a cool blend. How do you pick tracks that get the crowd hyped but still feel totally “DJLiutik”?

My taste in music is very versatile and I always read the crowd. I share my personal taste with the people and just think creative when I play.

You’ve become more than a DJ—an influencer and socialite in Dubai. How do you balance all the events, collabs, and spinning decks without missing a beat?

Everything I do, I do because I like it and have fun with it. I love, love being busy and having a packed schedule, so for me, it’s easy to shuffle between my DJ gigs, events, collabs, shoots, etc.

What inspires your fashion sense? Can you name some of your go-to brands?

My fashion is entirely mood-based and depends on what I’m into at the moment. My taste shifts from street chic to classy to bold—you name it. Go-to brands include Good Faith (a local brand), Supreme, Lime, Rotate, Kenzo, Corteiz, Prada, Max&Co, Loewe, and Coperni.

You’ve played at some iconic events. What has been your most “pinch-me” moment so far?

The pinch-me moment was when I opened for artists like Freek, Post Malone, and Travis Scott.

What advice would you give to other women who want to turn their passion into a career while building their own identity and presence?

Don’t be afraid to take risks, follow your dreams, and trust your gut feelings. The uncertainty can be scary, but your drive and determination will guide you. Stay consistent with your craft, and don’t hesitate to show your true self to your audience—your real fans will follow and love you for it. Always do what you love, not what’s considered cool by the world. Nothing forced will ever give you the best results, but the things you genuinely love will take you far in life.

Have you faced any “oh no she didn’t” moments, and how did you own the stage anyway?

We all face challenges, and I’ve had my share too—I could probably write a list of these moments, lol. But one funny moment I’ll never forget is when someone spilled a drink on one of the decks. The music stopped, obviously, because the deck just switched off after the liquid got inside. I had to act like it was intentional, setting up for a moment to drop a fire track, lol.

When you’re not behind the decks, you’re always on the go with exciting collabs and events. What’s next for DJLiutik?

The next chapter is already in the works—stay tuned for what’s coming! Let’s just say, it’s something related to music.

If you could describe your DJ empire in three words, what would they be—and why?

Determined, Strong, Dreamer. I’m proud of touring the world and opening for major artists and brands. I always saw myself on stage, and I love being there. I love concerts, I love playing for people, and when I see people enjoying, singing, and dancing, it makes me so happy—it’s an indescribable feeling.
