Ramadan is an exciting time to scoop up some modest fashion inspiration and witness the unveiling of new trends in the Middle East. Whether it’s influencers attending suhoor and iftar events or the local communities just out and about on the streets, everyone is elegantly draped in kaftans, long, flowy dresses, abaya gowns, and special Ramadan edits by both luxury and local designers. Here are some of our favourite looks from last week with Yasmine Zahran, Soha Taha and others on the list.

Soha


UAE-based Egyptian stylist and influencer, Soha, stuns in a neutral-toned metallic kaftan by Manel Fashion. She tastefully accessorized her look with simple golden accessories and a chain decor bag. Sleek!

Merihan


In a fresh take on traditional Ramadan style,Abu Dhabi-based influencer, Merihan, donned a beautiful ombre lilac kaftan gown with fringe details, a highlight in her Ramadan looks series. She paired it with a sleek bun and subtle bronze makeup, creating a look that perfectly complemented the ensemble.

Ward

Ward, the Kuwaiti model, kept it chic in an all-black ensemble from AEON Abaya. Black heels and a Dior bag finished off the look. A comfortable and stylish look for Ramadan day outs or evenings.

Shahinaz


Shahinaz, the UAE-based Syrian Moroccan founder and designer behind NAZ clothing, wore a multi-toned gown from her own collection. She smartly layered it over a satin gown and amped up the look with a bold red choker. It’s a creative, self-styled ensemble that really stands out.

Reem


Dubai-based influencer Reem shows us that black and bling are a match made in heaven. She rocked a black collared abaya gown adorned with sparkly embellishments and paired it with some fancy heels. It’s a perfect fit for post-iftar gatherings.

Kholoud


Kholoud, the first Qatari female fashion and lifestyle influencer, made a statement in green and white, pairing a dazzling Swarovski piece with a white abaya coat and a satin skirt.

Yasmine


Egyptian influencer Yasmine Zahran showcased her favourite picks from Michael Kors’ Ramadan collection with an all-gold outfit. She wore a flowing dress accented with an MK belt and bag, complemented by subtle bronze makeup.

AlReem

Pleated dresses are sticking around, and we’re all for it! Emirati-Qatari influencer AlReem is serving up Ramadan looks, and we’re especially loving the Manel Fashion kaftan. It’s got that metallic sheen and flowy, ruched bell sleeves that are pure elegance.

Taim

Named one of the most influential young leaders in 2023, travel and lifestyle influencer Taim wore an ombre satin kaftan by Aleena clothing. Opting for simplicity, she completed the look with subtle accessories for a polished look.

Menna

Fur details and pink always make a winning combo! UAE-based digital creator Menna rocked a stunning Taller Marmo dress adorned with fur on the edges. She topped off the ensemble with a metallic bag and a complementary hijab.
