Some of these celebrity engagement rings are so iconic, so timelessly gorgeous, that they make us ooh and aah, even after decades. From toi et moi rings, to dainty pear-cuts, here’s a look at some of the wedding jewels we’ve been loving. Feel free to ogle, judge, and perhaps even manifest.

Princess Diana

Lady Di’s engagement ring is possibly the most iconic engagement ring ever. The late Princess selected the ring herself from Garrard’s jewellry range, rather than go down the conventional royal route of having a ring custom-made. Featuring a 12-carat Ceylon sapphire, surrounded by 14 solitaire diamonds, and set in 18-karat white gold, her ring was a reflection of her audaciously authentic character.

Rajwa Al Saif

Princess Rajwa Al Saif of Jordan wears a Harry Winston ring featuring a pear-shaped diamond, flanked by smaller stones on each side. The ring sits delicately on a thin silver band.

Amal Clooney

Human rights activist Amal Clooney’s ring, crafted by British jeweler, George Cleverley, features an ethically sourced diamond in emerald-cut, flanked by two tapered baguette cut diamonds.

Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham will always be Posh Spice, because who else would have an entire collection of engagement rings? The ex-popstar has been seen sporting 15 different jewels on her ring finger over the years. Pictured here, on the left, we have an oval-cut ruby ring, a satisfying complement to her polka dot dress, that she debuted at the 2009 Met Gala. On the right, we have her wearing a cushion-cut emerald ring that she debuted at the annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing Party in 2007, pairing it with a matching emerald bracelet on her right wrist.

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa’s ring strays from convention, and finds itself steeped in love. The popstar’s fiance, Callum Turner, took counsel from her friends and family to make sure he proposed with the perfect ring. Set on a wide cigar band, the ring features a bezel set diamond, likely an old European cut.

Jackie Kennedy

Jackie Kennedy’s Van Cleef & Arpels toi-et-moi ring has been a fixture on wedding moodboards since she first wore it in 1953. It included a 2.88 carat diamond next to a 2.84-carat emerald, surrounded by tapered baguettes. Kennedy would, later, upgrade it to include an additional 2.12 carats worth of marquise and round diamonds to mimic the look of a laurel wreath nestled underneath.

Noor Fares

London-based jewelry designer Noor Fares chose to wear a hexagon-shaped engagement ring, a shape believed to represent union and balance. How sweet! How chic! And how meaningful.
