Youman Khoury is a woman who holds many titles. Influencer. Beauty Expert. Entrepreneur. And now, Bride. On May 18, 2025, the Youmi Beauty Founder shared a glimpse of her official Nikka ceremony. The news came as a surprise to her 7.8 million followers, but well wishes followed soon after.

Now, with her dream destination wedding round the corner, there’s much to plan for, and that includes the classic bridal glow. In an exclusive Q&A with Soigné, Youmna takes us in on her big day. Specifically, we learn about her Bridal Beauty Diary—we’re talking skin, hair, and all things Youmi Beauty!

What does your wedding moodboard look like?

My wedding moodboard is rooted in timeless elegance with an undeniable air of luxury. I’ve always gravitated toward that “old money” aesthetic, think understated glamour, clean silhouettes, and a sense of ease that doesn’t try too hard. I’m drawing inspiration from classic Italian beauty, the kind of effortless refinement you’d see in vintage photographs of Roman holidays or Lake Como weddings

How are you preparing your skin for the wedding week?

To me, skincare is more than a routine; it’s a ritual. In the lead-up to the wedding, I’ve really committed to hydration and brightening because I wanted that lit-from-within glow, and I don’t want to fake it with highlighter! SPF and layering my skincare are also very important to me. First with lightweight serums, then nourishing eye creams, and a face mask two to three times a week to keep things plump and supple.

Leading up to the wedding week, I’ve also booked a few facials focused on lymphatic drainage and hydration. And beyond skincare, I genuinely believe that wellness plays a huge role in how your skin behaves. I keep my meals clean, drink lots of water, and make time for workouts and massages. These days, spa days have been my escape from all the planning stress; they help me stay calm and centred.

Could you share with us what hairstyle you plan to wear during the wedding?

The hair will be polished, voluminous, and soft—something that complements the full-glam makeup and luxe feel of my dress, without stealing the show. I’m also working with a hairstylist I trust because on the day, I do not want to stress about anything coming undone.

We’re planning a classic style with a modern softness, likely a structured wave or lifted, full-bodied blowout that holds its shape all night. I’ll definitely be incorporating my signature Youmi Beauty hair extensions. They give the perfect amount of drama while still blending seamlessly with my natural texture. It’s all about enhancing my look, not overpowering it.

Do you have any hair secrets, tips, and tricks up your sleeve to ensure that your hair stays put?

Oh absolutely! It all starts with the prep. In the weeks leading up, I’ve been doing intensive nourishment with hair masks and ampoules to rebuild strength and shine. You’d want your hair to hold style without feeling stiff or dry, so moisture is key.

When styling my hair, I always apply the Youmi Beauty Shine and Volume Serum before blow-drying because it gives that silky foundation while adding bounce. Then I follow up with the Leave-In Hair Mousse, which I swear by. It protects against heat, adds grip for styling, and helps everything stay put without the crunch.

And of course, I’m not going at it alone, I trust my hairstylist’s hands completely. We’ve done trials, tested longevity, and made sure every pin, curl, and strand is set up for success, even if there’s dancing, tears, or both.

If we took a peek at your wedding vanity, what would we find?

You’d see a well-curated mix of indulgence and practicality. My full La Prairie skincare set is front and centre—their creams and serums have been my skin’s best friend throughout this entire process. You’d also see under-eye patches chilling in a mini beauty fridge, a pink compact brush I’ve taken everywhere, and my trusty Youmi Hair Curler for any last-minute touch-ups.

There’s also a special section just for scents, including the body care products from Youmi Beauty’s newest launch. The fragrance is soft, feminine, and feels incredible to me. I wanted to surround myself with details that feel personal, from the lip gloss that lives in every one of my clutches to the camera I’m bringing along to capture all the behind-the-scenes moments. It’s not just about looking good, it’s about feeling like myself, but elevated.

Finally, if you had to pick, what are the top 5 Youmi Beauty items that you would keep with you throughout the wedding week?

The first is the Youmi Shampoo & Conditioner. My hair prep starts in the shower, and these products keep my hair smooth, healthy, and hydrated, which is the best canvas for styling. Then it would be the Shine and Volume Serum. This is my weapon for soft shine and bounce. It smooths everything without weighing it down. Then I’d say my Leave-In Hair Mousse. I never heat style without it. It protects, adds texture, and locks in shape all day and night. Then, it would be the Youmi Hair Curler. I’ve travelled with this everywhere. It’s quick, reliable, and creates the perfect curl without over-drying. And then finally, I would have to pick the Youmi Body Care Collection. I can’t express how special this is to me. It smells beautiful, feels luxurious, and adds that personal touch to the entire beauty experience. Using it makes me feel like I’m stepping into the most important day of my life fully grounded in who I am.
