Pharrell Williams and adidas have officially unveiled the VIRGINIA adistar Jellyfish in bold orange, all set to release on August 23, 2025. This sneaker debuts under Pharrell’s new creative community platform, VIRGINIA, a brand rooted in his home state yet designed to inspire creativity all over the world.
This fresh reinterpretation of the classic adidas adistar merges performance with streetwear flair. The chunky midsole is inspired by the fluid, drifting gills of a jellyfish, and true to its aquatic muse, the shoe even includes glow-in-the-dark features that evoke an otherworldly, underwater feel.
Both “Jellyfish” and “VIRGINIA” appear on the insole. These subtle touches ground the design in Pharrell’s personal vision, which carries on in the launch campaign, a dreamy underwater fantasy showcasing divers mesmerized by jellyfish in a coral reef.
Priced at Dhs 1,249, the VIRGINIA adistar Jellyfish by Pharrell Williams will be available in orange in limited quantity exclusively at the adidas Originals store in Dubai Mall starting August 23.
