A new generation of UAE-based designers is bringing together Arab heritage with a contemporary edge, creating collections that are timeless in their relevance. Reema Al Banna, REEMAMI


Dubai-based label Reemami was founded by Palestinian designer Reema Al Banna in 2009 and is known for bright, playful prints and pieces with hand-drawn illustrations that have been donned by the likes of supermodel Bella Hadid.
Madiyah Al Sharqi


Emirati designer Madiyah Al Sharqi, daughter of the Ruler of Fujairah, UAE, HH Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, launched her eponymous label in 2012. Her brand is a decadent mix of modern silhouettes and Emirati heritage.
Dima Ayad


Lebanon-born, Dubai-based Dima Ayad runs a size-inclusive fashion label, known for its timeless designs. Her pieces go big on metallics and never compromise on glam.
Manaal Al Hammadi


Manaal Al Hammadi is an Emirati designer who has been creating chic modern modest silhouettes since 2006. Her sister brand ‘thedaily’ dropped in late 2022, for pieces more suited for everyday smart dressing.
Fatma AlOtaiba, ODEEM

Fatma AlOtaiba founded Odeem in 2018 as a luxury accessories label, specializing in leather goods well-suited to stand the test of time.
Rawdha Salem Thani, Illi
Rawdha Thani, an Emirati designer with a rich background in Architectural design and visual arts, launched Illi, a Dubai-based abaya label that reinterprets the traditional abaya with a contemporary take. Launched on 11/11 in 2020, her brand brings her lifelong fascination with celestial wonders to life.
Sara Al Tamimi


Based out of Abu Dhabi, Sara Al Tamimi’s eponymous luxury label blends retro styles with modern sensibilities, creating thoughtful collections that earn their place in the wearer’s closet.
