September always feels like fashion’s new year, doesn’t it? One city after the other—Dubai, New York, London, Paris, and finally Riyadh—the calendar becomes a blur of runways, lobbies, and sidewalks that feel just as styled as the catwalk itself. And honestly, the street looks are half the fun. This season, Fall/Winter 2025 attendees are loving sequin (lots of sequin), oversized coats with sculptural edges, silk scarves knotted over the waist, and crochet caps making denim look suddenly very now. Outerwear flair is all the sizzle this season. Sculputural coats and jackets with exaggerated collars seemed to dominate FW25 runways and street style alike. Belts are on top this fashion season – we’re seeing the summer-to-fall evolution as we go from silk scarves tied as belts to skinny belts and statement belts cinching blazers and shirts, creating visual contrast to make an outfit interesting.
Daylighting Sequins
Sequins have steadily made their way out of the night-time and are now the perfect day-time pairing to an otherwise neutral outfit.
