While 2025 comes to a close, we take a nostalgic turn to some of the beauty trends that have been making the rounds on social media this year. Over the past year, skincare and makeup technology and techniques have switched up dramatically, making beauty more inclusive, more accessible, and more susceptible to trends. With all that’s said and done, these are the beauty trends the Soigne team will be taking with them to 2026.
Beauty from Within

This year, beauty shifted from what we can put on the outside to what we can put inside. Edible skincare, like a slew of supplements or a collagen smoothie, entered skincare routines as a long-term fix for healthy skin. While we can’t say every concoction out there can radically transform your skin, it made us realise how a balanced diet, including staying on top of your vitamin game, can reflect on your skin.
Underpainted Blush

The real cure to blush blindness, especially with how pigmented liquid blushes have become! Basically, going all out with blush before adding foundation, underpainting as a makeup technique has existed for a long time, but over the past year, the method has gained traction for those looking to achieve a natural flush that comes from within.
Milky Toners

There was a time when everyone would skip the toner step or question its purpose. But now, reformulated from a water-like consistency to a milky, lotion-like consistency and toners are back to being a vital part of a skincare routine. While we love toners in every consistency, the hype behind milky toners is very real. That’s because milky toners carry a higher concentration of hydrating ingredients, leaving behind the benefits of a toner and of a serum/ampoule. And this surge of hydration is what makes the skin feel and look glowy, even under makeup!
Tinted Skin

Lightweight, moisturising, and with a subtle natural finish that still leaves behind a glow, what’s not there to love about skin tints? Especially with the Gulf heat, where sweat and dust are common enemies, layers and layers of makeup can make the skin uncomfortable really quickly. While we will never abandon a full beat, between glam and no makeup at all, it’s good to finally have a suitable middle ground.
Dry Body Brushing

The practice of dry brushing has been around for centuries, from the ancient Egyptians to the Chinese. These days, it’s touted as one of the ways to get rid of cellulite by encouraging lymphatic drainage. But we love the trend just as a form of exfoliation, allowing our creams and lotions to simply sink into the skin effortlessly.
Juicy Lip Oils

The lip oil craze isn’t over yet, and we will be partially responsible. Luscious, glossy hydration has been the key theme for 2025 beauty, and the lips were no exception. Combining the comforting benefits of a balm and the juicy pout of a gloss, it’s the best of both worlds when it comes to the world of lippies.
Similarly, All Day Lips

The staying power of lip tints has only grown stronger and stronger over this past year, courtesy of Huda Beauty. Making sure the pout stays put, the lip combo that’s coming with us in 2026 is a high-performing lip tint layered under a juicy lip oil.
Skin Tech

This year, we’ve noticed a rise in at-home beauty gadgets, specifically LED face masks. While they are an investment, not only in price but also in time, the benefits—-preventing breakouts, improving fine lines and uneven skintone, among others—make the investment worthwhile.
And Finally, Makeup-Skincare Hybrids

Most beauty trends had one thing in common that linked to their success—they were makeup-skincare hybrids. Over the past year, we’ve noticed makeup and skincare merging into one another, where SPFs would pull a double duty shift as a skin tint or blushes would be formulated with hydrating ingredients in mind. And we love multitaskers and can’t get enough of them, so you will definitely catch us raving on more hybrid beauty products once 2026 rolls around.
