Here’s Everything You Can Wear Over Your Hijab When You Want a Little Extra

Some days you wrap your hijab and call it a day. Other days, you want it to look like you actually had a mood in mind. That’s where accessories earn their keep. A padded band, a slim cap peeking through, a bow, a little sparkle at the crown, tiny touches that make your hijab look styled, not just worn.

Paired with Outerwear

Ever since Dubai woke up enveloped in fog, we are safe to assume that winter is here, and staying. So it wouldn’t be too weird if you paired your hijab with outerwear, think extra fabric tucked in leather jackets and trench coats or sitting comfortably under a hoodie.

Adding a Hat

Casual caps over hijabs is a common daytime look, which is why instead of the usual baseball caps, we’re recommending berets, bucket hats, cowboy hats, flat top hats, and even cocktail hats if you’re feeling British! It is an underrated accessory that pulls an outfit together, keeping the head warm while looking incredibly chic.

Embellish with Jewellery

We should all be playing around with our jewellery more. Brooches are the standard piece to bedazzle a hijab, but if you want to get really experimental, try draping and pinning necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Not only will it add sparkle and visual interest to the hijab, but it will also help in addressing drapes and how you can add bling without weighing your head down.
