If there is any moment to celebrate Emirati designers, it is now! Contemporary leather goods brand Aimée Moreau is one such brand worth celebrating. Founded by Emirati designer and creative director Noura Alqemzi, Aimée Moreau is rooted in intentionality, restraint, and quiet confidence. Creating pieces in small batches produced by specialist artisans, you’re guaranteed quality designs and craft over trend cycles. Their current range of baguette bags are sculptural, minimal, and tactile, absent of logos, instead allowing the quality to speak for itself.

Azzalia

Founded by Sheikha Amal Al Maktoum, Azzalia is a clever name combination inspired by her two daughters, Azza and Alia. Her pieces themselves focus on couture abayas, gowns, evening wear, and ready-to-wear. Consisting of quality fabrics, sharp tailoring, and intricate embroidery, Azzalia has taken its pieces to exhibitions all across the Middle East and even London Fashion Week. Capturing the importance of quality above all, it captures the taste of the contemporary Emirati woman.

Contemporary Spaces

Another homegrown brand to celebrate, Contemporary Spaces is a UAE-based concept store focused on design-driven furniture. Recently launched, the store is rooted in minimalism, natural materials and intentional living. As its name suggests, it is a reflection of the UAE’s evolving appreciation for modern interiors while remaining true to culture, craft and emotional resonance.
