Get in the car, we’re going holiday shopping. Marc Jacobs has switched the mood to full joy this season, and Resort 2025 carries that message on every strap, buckle and sequin.
Under the banner Give Marc, Get Joy, the collection approaches the holiday period as a three-month programme rather than a single date on the calendar. Think end-of-year travel, office parties, long dinners and New Year’s plans all sharing the same wardrobe. Signature shapes are all present and accounted for—The Tote Bag, The Dakota, The Dual, The Snapshot, The Cristina—but treated as objects of play. Metallic leather, crystal-studded finishes, foiled textures and plush faux-fur trims turn familiar silhouettes into little mood-lifters you actually want to carry from daytime errands to the last party of the night.

There is a clear art streak running through the line. Collaborations with David Shrigley, Derrick Adams and Hattie Stewart bring graphic language, colour and humour to ready-to-wear and accessories. T-shirts, bags and charms read like limited-edition pieces picked up after a gallery opening, not generic merch. It’s fashion with personality baked in, you can clock it across a room before you see the logo.
The campaign mirrors that energy. Shot by Chris Rhodes and styled by Clare Byrne, it casts Iris Law alongside Dara Allen and Stevie Sims, capturing the clothes in scenes that feel more like real nights out than staged holiday fantasy.

Gifting sits at the centre of the story. The collection is built for the friend who swears by a daily Tote, the colleague who collects compact crossbodies, the relative who plans outfits around shoes. Mini metallic Totes, crystal Kiki boots, sequinned clutches, glossy wallets and beauty bags in punchy colourways create a line-up where “I’ll just pick up one present” quickly becomes a considered holiday haul. It’s the kind of assortment that works as much under a tree as it does under a restaurant candle.
For Dubai, there is an extra reason to pay attention. Marc Jacobs is opening a new store in Dubai Mall, bringing the Resort 2025 collection and the World of Joy concept directly to one of the city’s busiest fashion addresses. The space will house the key bags, ready-to-wear and gifting pieces, giving shoppers the chance to feel the textures, test the proportions and decide which metallic or crystal finish suits their version of winter nights in the city.

If the past few seasons have been about careful, pragmatic dressing, Resort 2025 is Marc Jacobs giving everyone permission to celebrate again through clothes and accessories.
