The Soigné 2026 Creator Crush: Meet Fatema Alawadhi

Unpretentious fashion that makes you stop mid-scroll

When it comes to styling modest fashion, some say the maximalist route is especially hard because it takes real skill to make the layers work for you, not against you. Well, we would wager the same to be true in the opposite direction. The clean girl aesthetic got so popular that we forget just how difficult it can be to execute a good silhouette. When we have less layers on, proportion and detail are further exposed, so we need to make each stitch count with the right styling.

And it’s why we’re so stuck on Fatema Alawadhi’s profile. A Kuwaiti fashion creator, also commonly referred to as justfatema, Alawadhi’s style sticks with us because everything she wears is so refreshingly wearable. Just like her handle, there is no pretence; her style is just her.

But there’s more to it. Sometimes her style can be Khaleeji fashion modernised, spotlighting local brands along the way. Sometimes, the Kuwaiti influencer’s style comes with feathers, embellishments, and ruffled silhouettes. But they all circle back to her core styling principles of clean, elegant, unfussy fashion.

In a way, she is a clean girl gone rogue, not quite maximalist but not exactly beige either. She makes a feminine silhouette work without the florals and pulls off an edgy mood without leather. Without boxing herself into a niche, she toes the line of the in-between, pulling out fits that aren’t the kind to grab the spotlight, but to be lived out in the daylight.

And it’s why we can’t scroll past without pressing ‘bookmark’ first.
