As the week draws to a close, we look to the weekend as a means to explore. Through new launches, new festivals, and new films, we look to the weekend activities in Dubai that kindle an adventurous spirit. For some, that looks like indulging in a horror film, for others, it means visiting a food festival to expand their palate. Either way, our weekend guide this week is for those looking for something new.

Things to Do in Dubai

Celebrating its seventh anniversary this week, CASSETTE enters a new chapter with a newly refined space and menu. The spot sits between a cafe and a cultural hub, blending Parisian soul with Dubai’s creative energy. The latest rebrand reflects the brand evolution and how the community views it. Leaning into their reputation of comfort, the new menu draws from classic Parisian bistro sensibilities, with familiar flavours at the forefront. If you find yourself visiting in the mornings, take your pick from Potato Rösti or the Pain Perdu du Matin. If it’s lunch that you’re after, then you can find plates of Roast Baby Chicken or a French Dip Sandwich, a Parisian classic reimaged for the Dubai palette.
