Front row fashion can often rival the rest of fashion week itself. With each look comes energy and a viral moment itching to happen. Sure, the looks are brand-focused, but with the presence and confidence celebrities often bring, we see how something as simple as a blazer over a dress can look demure, edgy, classy, or diva-licious. So while we watch out for the latest collections, here are the celebs bringing their own take on things, all the way from the front row.

Burberry’s Lacquered Looks

Leather has been a common fabric this season, both on and off the runway. Daniel Lee’s latest AW26 show, however, turned the leather appearances up a notch. Trying to capture the energy of London after dark with his collection, front row attendees did the same. The result was leather, leather, leather! Some kept things simple, like Daisy Edgar-Jones, Alexa Chung, and Simone Ashley, who fashioned leather coats and trenches as a dress. Jodie Turner-Smith went the accessories route, where leather boots accompanied a bright diamond-patterned shift dress and fur coat. While rapper Lil Simz went layers over layers, paired her black leather jacket over an olive green trench coat, creating a silhouette most modest dressers are all too familiar with.

Coach’s Book Charms

Teased on the SS26 runway, we finally see the Coach Book Charms in action. Ever since its debut, we have wondered whether the charms were a gimmick or real books meant to be read. At Coach’s AW26 show, those in the front row, from Elle Fanning to Storm Reid and Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin, finally put the topic to rest, reading from their mini books. Coach went even further with their front row guests at the AW26 show, starting a series called the Front Row Book Club for guests to talk all things lit.

And while the book charms stole the spotlight, there was still plenty of room for the fashion, which leaned casual, slightly turning edgy with shiny leather pieces. Avantika Vandanapu rocked a knee-length leather skirt while Omar Apollo, Quenlin Blackwell, McKenna Grace, and streamer Valkyrae all showed up in leather jackets, trenches, and coats. Whereas our favourite look of the night went to Japanese singer Lilas, who showed up in a grey T-shirt dress with the skyline of New York printed on. Accessorised with a coin-purse necklace, a Tabby bag, and her own book charm, this was an easy, everyday look that any modest dresser could pull off.

Khaite’s Winter Ensembles

With a gothic runway underway, those in the front row for Khaite’s AW26 presentation did not disappoint. Everyone came dressed in a deep winter palette, some lacquered, some vampy, some embracing their dark feminine side. Some of our favourites were Elizabeth Debicki, who wore a black velvet dress that contrasted with her hair; Louisa Jacobson Gummer, who toned down her shiny leather pants with an olive green coat; and Julianne Hough, who went all blue with her outfit while her peep-toe shoes peeked through.

Malone Souliers’ Statement Feet

Channelling the spirit of London with their latest collection, those in attendance came with their own iteration of the ‘London Girl’. Evergreen looks that transition from one room to another with the shoes that do all the talking. Alexa Chung paired her neutral outfit with the Raquel sandal, where the pink metallic offered a subtle statement. Whereas Alva Claire kept things simple with an all-black ensemble, complete with the black Cecile mule. Finally, actress Amber Anderson attended with a pastel blue look, wearing the Maureen pump in crystal-embellished mesh that peeked through her jeans.

Michael Kors’ Glam

Marking his 45th anniversary with a glamorous night to remember, the stars in attendance followed the dress code to a T. Rich in textures mirroring what we saw on the runway, the front row also came with looks that embraced elaborate drapes, cheeky cuts, and sharp tailoring. Some of our favourites came from Uma Thurman, who feminised her dapper style with strings of pearls; Martha Stewart, who went monochrome but played around with different fabrics; and actress Supriya Ganesh, who showed up in a muted pink set accentuated with a creamy honey coloured clutch, a trail of fringed tassels flapping right behind.
