Looks From the Devil Wears Prada 2 Worth Screenshotting and Recreating

Outfit inspo for the next office season

The classic we’ve all been waiting for is finally out, and apart from delivering one of 2026’s biggest openings in the world, it has also delivered plenty of fashion inspo. Bringing a heap of styles to the forefront, it was clear that both the main and supporting cast came to serve. Costumer designer Molly Rogers made sure of it. Rogers, who also worked on the original film 20 years ago, created a visual language for each character that accurately described their evolved personality while also keeping behind the cheeky references fans all over the world were dying to see. Now that we’ve seen it all, here are our favourite ensembles and how to recreate them.

Emily’s Corporate Chic

Leave it to Emily Charlton (played by Emily Blunt) to take an obvious logo shirt and make it stylish beyond its typical graphic design. As the character now works for Dior, her refined English and New York attitude now come with a hint of French gavitas, and we see that by how she styles herself in her new role. For those looking to make their logo designs more work-friendly, do it the Emily way—layered with a pinstripe vest and pants. For shoes, opt for a pointed toe, while a chunky ring stack takes away the formal feel of the look.

Amari’s Ties

Amari (played by Simone Ashley) immediately captured the audience’s hearts with her tasteful balance of corporate menswear and fancy feminine chic. And this can be seen in the way she plays around with ties, almost never wearing them “the right way”. While the string of tie belts caught most of the audience’s attention, the look worth recreating is the white checkered fit. With its simple visual rhythm, you can tie the look together with grey pants and chunky loafers. For those looking to stay true to the film, opt for a midi pleated skirt and kitten heeled boots.

Miranda & Andy’s Suited Moments

20th Century Studios

As the pair go from one appointment to another in Milan, we see a litany of fabulous looks. One of them is a pair of sets, Miranda (played by Meryl Streep) in a grey monochromatic jumpsuit and Andy (played by Anne Hathaway) in a white pinstripe suit. Tying with the visuals of the other characters, it’s a relatively easy look to recreate that’s both modest and elegant. These two looks are also perfect to test out little accent pieces that refresh the look in a whole new way. Shoes in bright colours like tomato red or cobalt blue would make a statement, or clutches in animal or logo print would make it an obvious fashion-forward look.

Andy’s Back to Runway Moments

As Andy returns to Runway magazine, handling a department of her own, her fashion comes back in a mature, more layered way. Her dowdiness is dusted off as her experience in the media industry and eye for thrift fashion create her new wardrobe. One of our favourite looks is a navy blue courdoury dress layered with a vivid red vest, pearls, and chocolate brown boots. It’s colourful but not too out there and can be recreated with lighter fabrics like cotton that suit the GCC climate. The Campana tote by Bottega Veneta completes the look, giving it an easygoing yet polished vibe.

Amari’s Punk Chic

Speaking of layered moments, Amari showed us just how to take grunge clothing and tailor it for a work environment. Wearing a MONSE Harness Tapestry Dress, she made the mini dress modest with a crisp white shirt layered underneath. Modest dresses can add to it by pairing the mini dress with wide-legged pants and chunky loafers or with contrasting coloured tights and a pointed-toe heel that brings the attention back to the dress.

Miranda’s “Devilish” Style

Red was bound to enter the character wardrobe in one way or another throughout the film. We saw that in major moments when Miranda donned a red Balenciaga gown in Milan. But we’re looking at the slower moments in the film, when red wasn’t her armour but just a colour she fancied. One of her demure corporate looks took the power of colour combinations to its highest form, pairing red with navy blue, beige, black, and white. While they say you should never mix blue and black together, the character pulls it off, showing us that faux pas can work with the right styling. This look can also be done with an open abaya, allowing the textures of each piece to shine.

Emily’s Houndstooth Suit

One of the looks that reminds us of the 2006 original is Emily’s cape and skirt suit that she wore when meeting with Donatella Versace. Paired with stockings and thigh-high boots, it’s similar to Andy’s transformational Chanel look, just a tad more crisp and formal. We can see this look recreated with a myriad of prints—zebra, black and white checks, even plaid. The only real change comes from the leather cape and gloves. With the weather going back to hot and humid, we can’t imagine any sort of leather working here!

The Cerulean Sweater

20th Century Studios

And finally, we cannot skip over what is arguably the cerulean sweater that solidified the film into a cultural classic. An obvious callback to the original, we see the sweater turned into a vest and styled in a business casual look with light denim. Perfect for the heartfelt moment that brings the story into a full circle moment, it’s an easy look to recreate or one that can be styled up with tailored pants or styled down with a maxi skirt.
