The Debuted Models
On September 9, Apple announced the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. With the brand’s most advanced pro camera system, increased battery life, a smaller Dynamic Island, A20 Pro and a next-generation vapor chamber, these models deliver the highest sustained performance in iPhone history.
As for price points, the iPhone 18 Pro starts at Dhs 5,099 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at Dhs 5,499. And with Apple’s signature sleek design, the new models come in black, silver, glacier blue, and burgundy colourways. Pre-orders for the new models will begin on Saturday, September 12, with availability beginning from Friday, September 18 onwards.
What Comes Next?
Alongside the new models, Apple also announced its first foldable phone. Called the iPhone Duo, the phone features a 7.6-inch display when opened and a 5.4-inch outer display when closed. The phone will also be powered by Apple’s A20 Pro, offering high performance and battery life.
Coming in two colourways—star white and night sky—the phone starts at Dhs 8,499 and is set to go on sale from October 23.
