This month’s beauty consists of multi-tasking creams, on-the-go makeup, and body care that feels good all day. As Beautyworld Dubai approaches, the list of launches is only set to rack up and our vanity bags are ready for the expansion. But for now, we highlight the releases that have stuck with us—warm scents, nourishing skincare, and more.
Augustinus Bader | The Overnight Restorative Cream

For those who barely sleep and know that it shows, the latest by Augustinus Bader helps to restore fatigued skin all while you’re asleep. Formulated with Advanced TFC8®, AKA a blend of high-grade vitamins, lipids, and proprietary peptides, the cream targets the skin at a cellular level. It hydrates, calms any redness, improves skin density, and revives tired skin, leaving it plump and replenished.
Bottega Veneta | Alta Collection

Releasing a collection of fragrances, Bottega Veneta’s latest beauty release combines the house’s ode to craftsmanship and roots in Italy. Like the Intrecciato weave, the collection is put together similarly, weaving an ingredient from Italy with another originating from different corners of the globe. With 10 scents to choose from, the scents range from crisp, chypre aromatics to warm woods, all bottled in a sculptural glass reminiscent of the Intrecciato weave.
Burberry | Gold Amber Vanilla

Calling all the gourmand lovers! The latest fragrance by Burberry is centred on a sweet combination of vanillas that’s heady, decadent, and a tad cosy. Opening with lavender and maple syrup, the scent then sits in a roasted vanilla before drying down into an amber accord. The rich fragrance comes just as the weather turns colder and with its desert-coloured bottle, adds a warm hue to the vanity.
Makeup By Mario | Soft Shimmer™ Long Wearing Cream Shadow

With the festive season right around the corner, Makeup By Mario’s latest cream shadow works as an effortless makeup hack for a quick, festive look. Across 8 shades, the cream shadow diffuses across the eyelid, leaving behind a soft, shimmery finish. Formulated to be crease, sweat, and humidity resistant, you can layer this shadow with a deeper, smoky eye or on its own in a monochromatic look.
Prada | Touch Cream-to-Powder Blush

As the city opens up with launches, activations, and dinners to attend, on-the-go makeup becomes even more valuable. Which is exactly why we’re all over the Prada Touch Cream-to-Powder Blush. Coming in 8 shades with Prada’s signature triangle motif, the compact blush melts into the skin, beginning as a cream before settling into a matte powdery finish. The colour payoff offers a natural flush but can be built upon for a bolder look.
Summer Fridays | Body Butter Balm & Body Fragrance Mist

Summer Fridays has entered the bodycare game and on the menu is a rich body butter alongside a fragrance mist that leaves behind a sweet and fruity scent trail. The duo comes in three scents: a soft, sweet Vanilla, a fruity Pink Guava, and a creamy gourmand Pistachio.
The body butter is a deeply hydrating moisturiser that sinks into the skin. Formulated with an oil blend, Shea, Murumuru, and Illipe butters, Colloidal Oat extract, Squalane, Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E, it helps lock in moisture while supporting the skin barrier. And paired with the mists, it keeps the skin feeling fresh all day long.
The Ordinary | Lacto-PDRN* 4% + B9 Eye Cream

The Ordinary doesn’t do eye creams so when they finally launched one, we were all ears. Created to tighten, lift, hydrate, and help minimise crow’s feet, the cream is centred on Lacto-PDRN*, a synthetic vegan alternative to salmon PDRN created through fermentation of Lactobacillus rhamnosus and Vitamin B9. Other ingredients like shea oil and glycerin help to keep the skin hydrated while the star combination works across the delicate eye area, working on eye bags and sagging eyelids.
YSL Beauty | Skin Affair Soft Glow Cushion Foundation

While the Skin Affair Soft Glow Cushion Foundation has been out in the market for some time now, it was only in September that the brand decided to launch in the UAE. So now, a new market gets to enjoy YSL’s latest offering—a compact, serum-based foundation that feels like a second skin. Available in 31 shades, the formulation leaves behind a buildable light-to-medium coverage that doesn’t clog, pill, or irritate the skin. In many ways, it can be considered as a skin tint, giving off a ‘My Skin But Better’ feel.
