Half-way through July, we could all use a little pick-me-up. Our curation of weekend activities is designed to help you reset, re-energize, and reconnect – with yourself, your city, and your senses.

From matcha-skincare pop-ups to sushi with sky-high views, here’s what’s on our radar this weekend.

Knot Bakehouse in Jumeirah is hosting a pop-up in collaboration with Vaseline to celebrate self-care and promote the skincare brand’s latest Gluta-Hya line, which combins GlutaGlow technology and Hyaluronic acid to brighten and hydrate the skin. Expect exclusive matcha drinks, product samples, and freebies like tote bags and t-shirts that can be customized. Adding to the excitement, award-winning Arab content-creator Yusur Al-Khalidi will be at the event for an exclusive meet-and-greet.

F1 Pop-up At Zahia City Centre

While this is indeed a guide to weekending in Dubai, we have to mention an exciting experience taking place at City Centre Al Zahia in Sharjah. If you’re a fan of Formula 1 but haven’t yet watched the latest Brad Pitt featuring flick yet, this is your chance. Catch the film in theatres at VOX Cinemas in City Centre Al Zahia and take part in the exclusive F1-themed racing experience for the chance to win excitign prizes.

Additionally, don’t forget to catch a glimpse of the real Aspire A2RL F1 team car valued at approximately AED 73 million, courtesy of Group 63 – the world’s largest AMG enthusiast community.

HAPI Home-Grown Eatery

HAPI is often mistaken for a health food spot, but, really, it’s just “good food made properly“, according to founder and chef Paul Frangie. Tucked into Al Khazzan Park, HAPI offers simple and wholesome food that’s always made from scratch. Think slow-cooked bone broth, fresh pancakes, juicy burgers, and artisanal ice-cream in a variety of flavours.
