A video tour of the new Villa Shams Beach Club is gaining traction on Tiktok and Instagram after people realised that the person in the video is an AI generated-virtual influencer, Danah.
Danah was created by Abdulaziz Al Rashed, founder of AI.Lens, a creative studio in Kuwait that specialises in AI driven storytelling. Danah aims to merge advanced AI visuals with content that is meaningful and aspirational and that was exactly Abdulaziz’s aim. He believes Danah is more than an AI face, she is programmed to reflect raw emotions, identity and culture in a way that is relatable.
Another aim that Danah is made to fulfill is to provide opportunities to people and local businesses who are either culturally bound in ways or lack the exposure through Danah or by creating virtual AI characters to appear on screen. Danah is just the beginning of something that seems to be revolutionary.
