The Miss Universe competition, one of 4 global beauty pageants, has gained another player in the game, and she’s truly remarkable.
Nadeen Ayoub, a Dubai-based Palestinian-Canadian model, wellness coach, and former Miss Earth finalist, has been crowned the first-ever Miss Universe Palestine! She’ll debut the nation’s presence at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand come November 21.
In a heartfelt announcement on social media, Ayoub shared, “I am honored to announce that for the first time ever, Palestine will be represented at Miss Universe.” Wearing a stunning tatreez dress designed by Palestinian designer Hiba Abdelkarim, the model pledged to be “the voice of a people who refuse to be silenced.”
So, Who is Nadeen Ayoub?
Raised across Palestine, the U.S., and Canada, she holds degrees in literature and psychology and is certified in wellness and nutrition coaching.
In 2022, she made waves as Miss Earth Water, making her the first Palestinian woman to secure an international beauty title. Beyond her accolades in the world of beauty, Ayoub is driven by purpose, to champion the betterment of her people.
In a series of recent interviews, she talks about resilience and what it means when your entire heritage is centered around it.
She is also founder of the Olive Green Academy, which educates and empowers young creators in sustainability and content creation.
The pageant will take place on November 21 in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand, and we can’t wait to see Nadeen’s historic debut on the Miss Universe stage.
