With a theme like “Pride in Our Nature” we can expect an all-out celebration, as the Saudis are known to have. What was once a day of parades and patriotic chants has grown into a cultural and economic reflection of a country that continues to inspire every day.
Over the last decade, the kingdom has transformed its image through Vision 2030, a reform plan that’s opened up its doors to industries that once felt unimaginable here. From entertainment and fashion to sports and tech, Saudi has become a magnet for international names— and there’s no better day to embrace this growth and evolution.
Expect the streets to turn into rivers of green, fireworks lacing the skies, and people pouring into public spaces with flags in hand and pride in their hearts.
In just the past few years, Saudi has hosted everything from Formula 1 races in Jeddah to sold-out concerts with global headliners. Fashion has followed suit, with Dolce & Gabbana presenting couture in AlUla’s sandstone valleys, while luxury brands from Dior to Balenciaga are testing the Saudi appetite for high fashion. On the cultural front, Riyadh Season has brought Cirque du Soleil, WWE-style showdowns, and international art exhibitions into the heart of the capital. Even cinema—once banned—has flourished, with red-carpet premieres and festivals drawing Hollywood names into the Kingdom.
Economically, too, Saudi has become impossible to ignore. From giga-projects like NEOM, a futuristic city rising in the desert, to the Red Sea’s luxury resorts designed to rival the Maldives, the kingdom has a lot to celebrate.
