Dubai Fashion Week has announced Alberta Ferretti as its guest designer for the Autumn/Winter 2026/27 season, confirming the Italian luxury house will open the calendar with an exclusive runway show on 1 February 2026. The presentation marks the brand’s first full-scale show in the Middle East and will debut its full AW26 collection in Dubai.
Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of Dubai Design District, called Alberta Ferretti’s arrival a marker of where DFW is heading. For her, bringing the house and Creative Director Lorenzo Serafini to Dubai shows the city’s growing pull in global fashion and the confidence major maisons now place in its stage.
Mohammed Aqra, Chief Strategy Officer of the Arab Fashion Council, put it even more directly. Hosting Alberta Ferretti, he said, proves Dubai isn’t just part of the conversation, it’s helping set the pace.
Lorenzo Serafini shared the enthusiasm, pointing to Dubai’s energy, audience, and design-driven culture as the reason this collection belongs here. Massimo Ferretti, Executive Chairman of Aeffe Group, called the move a strategic expansion into a region shaping luxury’s next chapter.
Dubai Fashion Week AW26/27 runs from 1 to 6 February 2026 at d3, welcoming regional and international designers from across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and the Americas, all ahead of New York Fashion Week, as DFW continues to claim its place on the global calendar.
