A long week feels effortless with the colder weather. And what better way to recharge over the weekend than by indulging in the climate through outdoor getaways. For this week’s weekending guide, we’ve done exactly that, spotlighting all the outdoor festivals and garden cafes.

To Shop

Sephora Middle East | Mall of the Emirates

Supplied

After SEPHORiA, Sephora has been slowly turning its locations into mini beauty playgrounds, and its renovation at the Mall of the Emirates is no exception. Hosting 124 premium brands across makeup, skincare, niche fragrance, haircare, and minis, expect beauty shopping to be a breeze. Not only that, their new beauty hub helps to try out new techniques, receive professional services, and explore the latest beauty innovations. A beauty lounge and private skincare rooms have also been added, offering personalised skincare consultations and treatments, while their hair studio and benefit brow bar help to learn more about styling and grooming.

Lootah Perfumes

Emirati brand Lootah Perfumes has released two new perfumes in its arsenal, right in time for holiday gift shopping. Adding to the Classic Collection is Velvet Dawn, a spicy-warm scent featuring notes of bergamot, cardamom, orris, cypress, vetiver, tonka, vanilla, and amber. The dry down is powdery and leaves an elegant yet intense scent trail. Whereas, adding to the Oud Collection is Lava Oud, a rich, smoky scent with notes of pink pepper, leather, patchouli, cardamom, cade smoke, tonka bean, sandalwood, guaiacwood, and of course, oud. Ideal for breezy winter nights, it’s a scent that delightfully tickles the nose.

ANATOMI | City Walk

Founded by Doaa Alghouti, this contemporary modest fashion brand blends versatile silhouettes with intricate embellishments, making them stand out. You can find them at City Walk, sporting everything from modest dresses and kaftans to travel wear and bridal pieces.

To Dine

tashas Jumeirah | Galleria Mall

Renovating their space after 11 years, the cosy cafe has transformed into an English greenhouse. Cascading greenery, poppy-patterned mosaic floors, and iron butterflies bring in the garden-inspired aesthetic. Whereas new additions to the menu, such as Golden Pear Salad, Zucchini Orzotto, and Tuna Niçoise, make sure taste and design reflect the same.

La Parrilla | Jumeirah Beach Hotel

Supplied

Returning back to Dubai with its char-kissed cuts, Argentinian steakhouse La Parrilla brings the best of Argentinian gastronomy reimagined by the country’s revered tradition of asado, a traditional South American barbecue. Expect plates with fire-roasted peppers and chimichurri, house-made Chorizo, and classics like Braised Beef and Argentinian Ají de Gallina.

NETTE | Al Barari

For those looking to spend the weekend embracing the cool air and the clouds, you’ll be glad to hear that café NETTE at Al Barari has reopened its outdoor garden. The space will be dog-friendly as NETTE introduces their Puppacino for the furry guests. Greenery to keep you grounded, shaded seating, a hot coffee to sip on, and a furry friend to keep you company—really, what more can you ask for?
