If you’ve ever wanted to flex that you’re wearing an Emirates airplane, this one’s for you. Emirates has recently launched its second limited-edition drop in the “Aircrafted by Emirates” collection, a continuation to their sustainable luggage series, first introduced in 2023.
The latest edition features 167 handmade pieces, each crafted from upcycled materials removed from retrofitted Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircrafts. Over 30,000 kg of cabin components have already been reclaimed from 63 aircrafts in this eco‑friendly project.
What’s within the collection, you ask?
There are 3 new trolley bag designs (the top seller in the 2023 range), 2 backpack styles, and 2 handbags – one of which is made from the fur of an Emirates’ captain’s seat! With prices ranging from $80 to $350, there’s something for every quirky traveler looking to cop their share of this collection.

The crafting takes place in Dubai, where a team of 14 in‑house tailors – officially known as Engineering Maintenance Assistants – operate a dedicated cabin workshop at Emirates Engineering. Normally tasked with repairing cabin interiors, they now focus full‑time on designing and stitching each piece of the Aircrafted collections.
The collection is already expected to sell out fast, just like the debut drop did in 2023.
And here’s the best bit: proceeds from the collection help fund children’s aid via the Emirates Airline Foundation. The original 2023 launch raised over $17,000, and the new drop will follow the same charitable path.
