IG: @marwaalhash

November has become a month chock-full of events and new launches to look forward to. From the reopening of Marsa Boulevard to events such as SEPHORiA, Dubai Design Week and Dubai Watch Week, there’s a lot bringing like-minded crowds together. Not only that, but with even more exciting events like Sole DXB and Race Weekend 2025 set to begin in early December, November feels like prep month—staying on top of wellness routines and discovering new spots to shop to get the streetstyle looks locked down.

If it all sounds too overwhelming, we have rounded up everything you could possibly look forward to so you can pick the things to do that are best suited for you.

To Dine

Bungalo34 | Pearl Jumeira

On Saturday, November 8, Bungalo34 is bringing back their much-anticipated brunch, Le Soleil. Starting at 1 PM, expect sun-soaked seaside vibes, complete with Italian delights, oyster on ice and beats by international DJ Chris Fild, straight from Mykonos.

Sadeem | Al Marmoom

Joining the list of desert cafes for the winter season, Sadeem is set to officially reopen by the end of November. Expect dunes, drinks, and their international menu to hit the sandy tables.

Maison Mer | Pearl Jumeira

Loosely translated to “House of the Sea”, Maison Mer is bringing its South of France charm to Pearl Jumeira. Officially opening on November 7, expect fresh, simple flavours accompanied by soft crashing waves and views.

Lion in the Sun | Mandarin Oriental Downtown

Smoky flavours blended with staple Mediterranean recipes are what we can expect from Lion in the Sun. The latest restaurant to join Mandarin Oriental Downtown, expect to dine by the sky with interiors that blend heritage with contemporary style. Although we are unsure of Lion in the Sun’s official opening date, it is set to open officially in November.

Cocina Tres | Pullman Dubai Downtown

IG cocina tres

Entering the dining scene with Baja flair is Cocina Tres, bringing Mexican flavours to Business Bay. Tex-Mex grills, handmade tortillas, and Mexican-inspired drinks will be the standard, whereas the space will be a casual dining affair, bringing the community closer over shared tastes.

SIMIHAZE BEAUTY | VELVET BLUR Mini Matte Lipstick Balm in Lava | Dhs 105

Looking for new lips? Palestinian brand SIMIHAZE BEAUTY has launched their holiday-exclusive collection—lippies in bold reds and browns, and set as either a matte lipstick or a moisture-boosting lip balm. Take your pick from their VELVET BLUR Mini Matte Lipstick Balm in Lava, a universal red with a matte finish, the SUPER SLICK Mini Lip Balm in Cherry, a sheer but buildable red set to moisturise the lips, the VELVET BLUR Mini Matte Lipstick Balm in Windburn, a rosy brown shade with a matte finish and a high colour payoff, and the SUPER SLICK Mini Lip Balm in Breeze, a sheer, everyday rosy shade in a lip balm. Our pick? Layering them all to create the perfect Cherry Cola lips!

Kosas

Another brand bringing the festive mood is Kosas, releasing their skincare-makeup hydris in two holiday sets. The Unbuttoned Trio is a set of lip essentials all spotlighting Kosas’ cult shade, Unbuttoned. Whereas the Blush Is Life Trio is a set of three silky, talc-free powder blushes, complete with squalane and hyaluronic acid for a moisturised tint. From the mauvy pink Euphoria, to the warm peachy Dare and the soft burgundy Spellbound, each blush can work on a variety of skintones, giving the festive season a radiant flush.

Maje

Maje | Beaded Rhinestone Maxi Dress | Dhs 2250

And speaking of festive, Maje has curated a party edit for when the city’s block party, Sole DXB, comes around. Between velvet and rhinestones, the aim is to be shining like a star with effortless elegance. With a curated selection of black tops, trousers, dresses, and bodysuits that subtly catch the light, our pick is the Beaded Rhinestone Maxi Dress. Although it features a generous slit on the side, it can be styled playfully with coloured tights.
