It’s the most wonderful time of the year, yes, Copenhagen Fashion Week is back. The Spring/Summer 2027 season has officially kicked off, and the Danes have come prepared with exactly what we love about Copenhagen style; colour, texture, layers and plenty of outfit inspiration already destined for mood boards.
We’ve spent seasons keeping an eye on the CPHFW designers shaping the conversation, and SS27 brings back many of the names we’ve been watching, from Anne Sofie Madsen’s creative duo to zero-waste pioneers Stem. For the shows, street style moments and highlights worth knowing, keep scrolling.

Malene Birger has been a Copenhagen favourite for years, but this season felt like a defining moment for the label. Closed by supermodel Mona Tougaard, the SS27 collection stayed true to the designer’s minimalist roots, with clean silhouettes, flowing fabrics and a pared-back palette.
OpéraSPORT
OpéraSPORT set the mood for SS27 with a garden runway at Copenhagen’s historic Carl Jacobsen House. Aptly titled “Growth”, the collection from Awa Malina Stelter and Stephanie Gundelach leaned into romance, with slip dresses, cascading frills and capri denim styled alongside floral brooches, statement necklaces and a salacious baby’s breath headpiece.
Skall Studio
Sisters Julie and Marie Skall presented their SS27 collection, “La Piscine,” as an ode to “the beauty of summer.” Despite a brief summer shower, the garden setting suited the collection’s relaxed mood, with loose cotton separates, voluminous shapes and the bohemian ease the brand is known for. This season, those familiar signatures were joined by touches of English country life, from basketry details to silver belt chains and nods to landed gentry. With its garden backdrop and romantic references, the collection felt like it belonged in the pages of an Austen novel.
Anne Sofie Madsen
Madsen and Clante’s SS27 collection, “The New Desire,” centred on “the idea of imagining new possibilities.” Staged in a stark white room for the CPHFW NEWTALENT show and soundtracked by a live flute performance from Danish artist Michala Petri, the collection softened the duo’s usual sense of drama. It felt like a more hopeful follow-up to January’s Ghostly Matters, a collection built around the idea of a future that had disappeared.
Stem
Sarah Brunnhuber’s zero-waste label may have only joined the CPHFW NEWTALENT roster last year, but it has already made a strong impression. The brand’s signature weaving techniques blur the line between pattern and textile, creating sculptural pieces from natural and biodegradable fibres including recycled cotton and Tencel Lyocell. This season, Brunnhuber teamed up with fellow Danish label Ganni to transform deadstock fabrics into upcycled runway looks.
Taus
Copenhagen-based ready-to-wear and demi-couture studio Taus, founded by Freyja Taus and Juho Lehiö, presented its Spring/Summer 2027 collection as part of the NEWTALENT One to Watch showcase. The collection reimagined the label’s signature upcycled and emotionally charged pieces through a lighter lens, moving away from its darker moods while keeping the craftsmanship and storytelling at its core.
Street Style We’re Loving
A guest at the by Malene Birger SS27 show styled an ivory knit set with a beaded belt, silver jewellery, a knitted clutch and black flip-flops for Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Laura Schulte brought a warm-toned look to Copenhagen Fashion Week, pairing wide-leg brown trousers with a red shirt, head scarf, statement necklace and brown bag outside the MKDT SS27 show.
Sophia Geiss kept things monochrome outside the Gestuz SS27 show, styling a black V-neck long-sleeve top with a long black skirt, sunglasses and a black bag during Copenhagen Fashion Week.
Melissa Vale styled wide-leg brown trousers with a matching brown short-sleeve top, ombré sunglasses and a black bag with metal details outside the MKDT SS27 show during Copenhagen Fashion Week.
Karen Blanchard brought a playful mix of colour and prints to the by Malene Birger SS27 show, pairing a turquoise bandana and oversized sunglasses with a white eyelet wrap dress layered over floral wide-leg trousers, finished with a bright yellow handbag and sneakers.
Julie Lambæk Vendelbo, Renee Marianna Van Bommel and Skyler Witschge showcased three distinct takes on Copenhagen street style outside the MKDT SS27 show. From Vendelbo’s polished white blazer and cropped trousers to Van Bommel’s oversized graphic tee and khaki culottes, and Witschge’s monochrome look with wide-leg trousers and statement sunglasses, each look balanced comfort with a strong sense of personal style.
